What you buy

Tapers, heroes, the Almanac's gilded pages, cosmetics and Lamplighter are digital content and services, delivered to your account as soon as your payment clears.
Nothing sold is random, nothing has money value outside the game, and nothing sold changes ranked duels.

In the EU and the UK you may usually withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. For digital content delivered at once, that right ends when delivery starts, if you agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged losing the right. The checkout asks for both, and your receipt repeats them.
Lamplighter: the same applies to its first month. You can cancel at any time in the game (Store, Lamplighter, Cancel); it then does not renew, and its benefits last to the end of the month you paid for.

When something you bought was not delivered or does not work, and we cannot fix it, we refund it.
When you were charged twice, or charged for an order that expired before you paid, we refund the extra charge.
Other requests within 14 days are welcome, and we decide them fairly. Write to [a support email address, to be filled in before launch] with your order number.

A refunded purchase is removed from your account: its tapers (even ones you have spent; your balance may then fall below zero, and setting out waits until daily grants bring it back), and the hero, pass, cosmetic or membership it granted.
A chargeback through your bank freezes the purchase until it is settled, and a lost one is treated as a refund.

This policy adds to your rights under the law of your country and never takes them away.
